Muay Thai is the art of eight limbs and with our system, you will not only learn all modes of attack with your limbs but defense as well.
The program has a fantastic blend of fitness, self-defense, mental and spiritual training, stand-up training, pad work, and much more. Muay Thai is great for people of all ages, gender, and abilities, our Muay Thai program caters to complete beginners through to advanced.
We give all of our students the option to participate in Muay Thai gradings.
KIDS MUAY THAI
The kids’ Muay Thai program (designed to be taken by 6-12 year olds) enables kids to build up self-esteem, discipline, respect, life skills, self-defense, and fitness.
Our program comprises a grading system that involves a set syllabus of skills and combinations that will be tested periodically. This not only helps to measure the progress of a child’s skills but gives our participants something to work towards.
All our instructors are trained in first aid and have current Working with Children Checks done.
FIGHT TEAM
Head Trainer and Owner, Keith Grant has derived a schedule-based system for the fight team that works on cardio, skills sessions, clinch work, takedowns, ground components, pad work, and stand-up skills. We firmly believe that this system creates strong bodies and minds which in turn creates a fantastic and proficient fighter.
For those of you who are looking for that little bit more, Monarch Muay Thai also has a fight team that trains 5 nights a week. Whether it be amateur or professional, our fight team competes all over Australia and overseas in various events in Muay Thai.
Our fight team concentrates more on the individual and the fighting aspect of martial arts. We believe that we have the perfect blend of creating a fantastic fighter while still maintaining your martial arts skills and mentality.
