Hi team, Ben here! Today's program is a little different to the normal workouts we offer. We will be focusing on Kettlebell progressions. This short video is compulsory to be viewed before completing any of our KB programs. We hope it will assist in building a basic understanding of the swings movement and its fundamentals.
Before we start I would like to suggest that if anyone is unsure or has any questions relating to any of these movements in the following video should please contact myself or Tim directly before attempting. All KB swing variations are hugely beneficial to your training program if done CORRECTLY. There are many ways to safely complete the swing and you may notice some discrepancies between different coaching styles; the most important thing is that the fundamentals are aligned with safe posture to ensure this dynamic movement loads only the muscles that are intended for targeting.
Moving on to the workout ahead, I sincerely apologize that my technique may be a tad more slippery than usual - my recent wrist surgery on my preferred hand has not yet healed and cannot be used for demonstration. This is why I encourage you all to ask questions and voice any concerns.
